Welcome to Business EXMOOR

Together we are stronger

Business Exmoor is a not for profit Community Interest Company set up by a group of Exmoor Business business people for the benefit of businesses on, near or serving Exmoor and the surrounding areas.

Our aims are to:

•  Provide a voice for businesses on Exmoor
•  Distributing information affecting businesses
•  Organising events for businesses

We understand the challenges of running on Exmoor. Join us and become part of a dynamic network with access to accountants, lawyers, surveyors, professionals, and business owners in the Exmoor area. Receive monthly newsletters with up to date information in matters which may affect your business, invitations to networking events, and listing on our directory.

Over the past few years Business Exmoor has been a major influence in policy making for the local area.   It’s board has been part of the ongoing process to save Minehead’s College Farm, and has been supporting an ongoing inquiry into the provision of a work hub at Wheddon Cross. Business Exmoor was instrumental in getting Somerset Council to revisit the new business rates relief, and has successfully supported several planning applications.  They have held a series of events addressing concerns of local businesses and been played an important role in the ongoing battle to roll out superfast broadband across the Exmoor area.
